From time to time the FCA posts events being held by the Singapore Press Club. This is one of those moments: Why India Will Matter More: Lunch talk by Dr Jaishankar @Raffles Hotel, Dec 4. Satyam, India's third largest IT company with annual revenue over US$1 billion, has come in as co-sponsor of the Indian High Commissioner's talk on Tuesday, Dec 4. The company runs its Asian operations from Singapore and its disaster recovery centre and its global data is secured here. In view of the rising economic and political importance of India, the talk by High Commissioner, Dr S. Jaishankar, is a good opportunity for members to hear from him Why India Will Matter More, and to participate in the Q&A session following the talk. Please note that registration for the talk will close on Friday, Nov 30. The member's fee for the luncheon talk is $10. Non-members pay $40. No-show penalty will apply to registered members who do not turn up. Members who have not cleared their membership or no-show penalty dues are not eligible for the subsidised member's fee.
