FCA AM Briefing with Josef Stiglitz

Nobel laureate Joself Stiglitz will be visiting Myanmar in December at the invitation of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) - the regional arm of the UN based in Bangkok.
He's attending a development policy seminar on Dec 15th and meeting government ministers to discuss policies for economic growth and rural poverty reduction. He will return to the USA via Singapore.
Mr. Stiglitz and Noeleen Heyzer, UN Under-Secreatry-General and Executive Secretary of ESCAP, have agreed to brief the FCA about their trip and their discussions with the government.
The press briefing is primarily for journalists, however, non-journalist members may also attend.
There have already been several requests for one-on-one interviews. His office informed us that Mr Stiglitz is just making a brief transit in Singapore and does not have time for any other interviews. However, press cameras are welcome to cover the presser and space will be arranged for them.
